Thai curry recipes are eagerly shared by those who love Thai cuisine. They feature all the tastes and flavors of Thai cuisine that is beloved around the world. In Thai curry recipes you'll find a hot and spicy kick along with the other four fundamental flavors: sweet, sour, salty and bitter.

Although we usually think of Thai cuisine as a single culinary style, it actually consists of four different regional styles found in the country: Nothern, Northeastern (or Isan), Central and SOuthern. Each of the region's cuisine combines to form the Thai cuisine that we know and love. They also share some dishes and cooking styles between them and are similarly influenced by neighbouring countries.

Thailand's southern style curries, for example, tend to contain coconut milk and fresh turmeric, while Northeastern Isan dishes often include lime juice, a key ingredient in their neigbour's cuisine, Laos.

Some of the most popular dishes in Thailand were originally Chinese dishes. These dishes were introduced into Thailand by the Teochew from China, who make up the majority of the Chinese migrants to Thailand. Examples of these dishes brought over by the Teochew: Jok, Kway Teow Rad Na, Khao Kha Moo (aka Moo Pa-Loh) and Khao Mun Gai.
