Hot & Sour Tom Yum Recipe for Fried Rice

With this fantastic Tom Yum recipe for fried rice, you can satisfy two cravings in one dish: your eternal love for fried rice and your strong cravings for the amazing flavors of Thai cuisine. And like any dish of fried rice, you can have this dish ready in front of you, on your dining table, within minute. It's quick and easy to make and what's even better, it has all that Thai flavour goodness you're after.

If you crave Thai food and that wonderful hot and sour taste found in many Thai dishes, then this recipe will serve you well. By making use of our Tom Yum paste, we've added another layer (and a spicy one at that) to a classic Chinese dish that already satisfied millions of cravings around the world.

This Tom Yum Recipe for Fried Rice serves 2

Ingredients
• 4 cups cooked rice, cold or overnight rice

• 200gm prawns and squids or any seafood you like

• 1 egg omelete, shredded or finely sliced
• 1 Garlic, finely sliced

• 3 tablespoon of Khimyan brand Thai Tom Yam Paste

Tips: As discussed previously, do not use lumpy or freshly cooked rice when making fried rice. Because if you do, you'll be making mushy fried rice. With fried rice, it's best to use "leftover" rice that has been placed in the refrigerator overnight. This takes the moisture out from the cooked rice and leaves it dry enough to separate during cooking, ensuring a better fried rice. If you have to use freshly-cooked rice, at least let it cool for several hours before using it.

Instructions:
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a wok and stir fry the sliced garlic and 3 tablespoon of Khimyan brand Thai Tom Yam Paste until fragrant.

2. Add the prawns, squids, egg into the wok and cook for about 2 minutes.

3. Add the 4 cups of cooked rice and stir well.

4. Serve hot.
